Bangle Size Guide
Last updated: March 10, 2026
Use this guide to determine your ideal bangle size. Bangles are rigid and must pass over your knuckles, so accurate sizing ensures comfort and security.
Why right bangle size matters
- Too small: hard to slide on and uncomfortable.
- Too large: may slip off and feel unstable.
- Just right: slides over knuckles and sits comfortably.
How to Measure
1) Hand circumference
- Tuck your thumb into your palm as if putting on a bangle.
- Wrap a soft tape around the knuckles, including the thumb knuckle.
- Record the overlap point. Inner diameter ≈ circumference ÷ 3.14.
2) Hand width
- Measure across the palm with a ruler.
- Or measure from mid-pinky knuckle to mid-index knuckle on the back of the hand.
3) Wrist size
- Wrap a tape, string, or ribbon around your wrist over the wrist bone.
- Mark the overlap and measure the length.
- Convert circumference to diameter using D = C ÷ 3.14 or use the chart.
4) Use an existing bangle
- Lay a well-fitting bangle flat and measure its inner diameter directly.
If you fall between sizes, choose the larger size for comfort. For wider bangles, consider a slightly bigger size. Slimmer bangles can feel roomier, so some people prefer a half size smaller.
